Madan Raj Poudel Appointed as President of JNIF Global Youth Network.

Jai Nepal International Foundation has announced the formation of the Global Youth Network through a webinar.

The event, which was attended by Minister of Health and Population Pradeep Paudel as the chief guest, unveiled the 43-member Global Youth Network under the leadership of Madan Raj Poudel Australia. This network includes passionate and determined youths from over 30 countries.

Addressing the program, Minister Paudel emphasized the critical need for health technicians in Nepal. He discussed the government’s plan to streamline the health insurance system and introduce a single-window system, aiming to discourage the practice of patients traveling directly to Kathmandu and promote an effective referral system. The minister also stressed the importance of raising awareness for disease prevention and mentioned that the government is working on adjusting the prices of medicines.

Congratulating the newly-formed Global Youth Network and its office bearers, Minister Paudel expressed his best wishes for the success of the rapidly growing Jai Nepal International Foundation. He hoped that the Foundation could effectively utilize the skills, resources, and experiences of Nepalese living abroad for the benefit of Nepal. He also assured the government’s readiness to collaborate with the Foundation.

Dr. Yadav Pandit, President of Jai Nepal International Foundation, chaired the event and highlighted that the Foundation serves as a supportive institution for all organizations. He shared that their efforts focus on retaining youths in Nepal, connecting the skills of Nepali youths abroad with the country, and fostering individuals with democratic values and positive attitudes. He also encouraged people to become lifetime and general members of the Foundation.

Dr. Niraj Shrestha, coordinator of the Global Knowledge Network of Jai Nepal International Foundation, emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to knowledge exchange for Nepal’s development. The first part of the program was conducted by Agni Chaulagain, the Foundation’s General Secretary, who handed over the second session to Nawaraj Neupane, General Secretary of the Youth Committee. Anup Khanal, the youth vice president of NRNA USA and a central member of the Global Youth Network, clarified the objectives behind the network’s formation.

Lal Pr. Kafle, central spokesperson of Jai Nepal International Foundation, welcomed all the guests, and newly elected central member Sijan Dahal expressed gratitude on behalf of the executive committee.

Prominent attendees included Member of Parliament and central member of Nepali Congress Pratima Gautam, former MP Bijula Barma Rana, former Chief Minister of Koshi Province Kedar Karki, former presidents of NRNA National Coordination Council USA Dr. Keshav Paudel and Buddhi Sagar Subedi, former vice president Dilu Parajuli, General Secretary Ramhari Adhikari, as well as members of the current and former committees. President of NRNA Belgium Sita Sapkota and other dignitaries were also present.

*Formation of Global Youth Network*

The Global Youth Network was formed under the presidency of Madan Raj Poudel (Australia), with Nawaraj Neupane (USA) as the General Secretary. Other members include Anup Khanal (USA), Bimala Sapkota (Canada), Sijan Dahal (Germany), Mahendra Basnet (USA), Binod Marasini (Portugal), Kushal Poudel (Japan), Binod Thapa (Malaysia), Anju Malla Thakuri (Belgium), Abhishek Bastola (Norway), Baikuntha Sigdel (Australia), Balkrishna Dahal (UK), Balram Tamang (China), Vidya Baral (Nepal), Binay Adhikari (Spain), Binod Bastola (South Korea), Binod Gurung (Canada), Deepjang Shahi Thakuri (Qatar), Dipesh Raj Ghimire (China), Hari BC (Malta), Hari Khadka (UAE), Homanath Giri (Kuwait), Krishna Giri (Denmark), Lal Prasad Pandey (India), Manisha Ranabhat (Nepal), Navin Katu.
