Pradip Humagain Makes History with Technical Director’s License and Diploma from Argentina
Pradip Humagain has made history as Nepal’s first-ever professional football coach to earn a technical director’s license and diploma, a significant milestone in his distinguished career. Humagain completed the course in Argentina, the home of world-renowned football legend Lionel Messi, and participated in a prestigious graduation ceremony organized by CONMEBOL on Wednesday morning, Nepal time.
In an emotional interview with AnzKhabar following the ceremony, Humagain expressed his deep pride and honor at representing Nepal in one of FIFA’s top-ranked footballing nations. “It is a great privilege to receive this certificate in a country so deeply connected to the global football community, especially in Messi’s hometown,” he stated.
Humagain’s achievements extend far beyond this latest milestone. He is possibly the only football coach in the world to hold three master’s degrees— in Health Education, Physical Education, and Sociology— further solidifying his unique position in the sport. His academic achievements complement his practical experience, making him a standout figure both in Nepal and on the global football stage.
Fluent in English, Spanish, Hindi, and Nepali, Humagain brings a truly international perspective to football coaching. His recent diploma in Spanish has further enhanced his ability to collaborate with top footballing nations, including Argentina, where he has been deeply involved in blending innovation with traditional football expertise.
